Clay's World Famous Steak
Over the years, we've collected a virtual book of favorite grilling recipes from our customers. This steak recipe has been tried and tested in grilling glass class after grilling class and has become a staple in our list of favorites.
- - New York Strip, Rib eye or Filet
- - Kosher Salt or Himalayan Pink Salt
- - Fresh cracked pepper
- - Snider's Rib and Roast
- - Butter
- Pre-heat grill to maximum temperature, or to a minimum of 600 degrees for searing.
- Let steaks rest and rise to room temperature for about 10 -15 minutes
Pat the steaks dry with a paper towel to remove any surface moisture.
Lightly season steaks with Kosher Salt, fresh cracked pepper and Snider's Prime Rib and Roast Seasoning.
Place on hot grill for 90 seconds, then turn 90 degrees to cross sear for another 90 seconds.
Repeat on the other side.
Now turn grill down to medium temperature and cook to taste, flipping every two minutes.
Remember to let meat rest for 10 minutes before serving. (add a pat of butter and cover in foil for best results)
